Functionality and design in every variant.
The U32.32 profiles are available in six different mounting options, allowing for flexible adaptation to a variety of architectural and installation applications. Each mounting type has been designed with specific aesthetic and functional requirements in mind: C – surface-mounted, S – suspended, T – recessed frameless, V – shallow recessed, W – deep recessed, A – asymmetrical recessed. With such a wide range of mounting options, U32.32 profiles are suitable for both modern commercial projects and residential spaces, providing functionality, aesthetics, and complete control over light distribution.
BB-Chili Modules
BB-Chili modules utilize advanced Bartenbach technology and precise LFO optics, available with light distribution angles of 30° and 60°. This ensures efficient and uniform illumination, perfectly suited for a variety of architectural applications. It should be noted, however, that BB-Chili modules are not available for profiles with asymmetrical mounting, which limits their use in certain configurations.
BB-Tube Module
The BB-Tube module features advanced LFO optics developed at the Bartenbach laboratory, offering light distribution angles of 30° or 60°, allowing precise adjustment of illumination to meet various design requirements. The light source is fully adjustable – it can be tilted vertically and horizontally up to 90° and rotated around its axis up to 350°, providing great flexibility in directing light. The BB-Tube module is available for mounting variants C (surface-mounted), S (suspended), and T (recessed frameless), making it suitable for versatile applications in both residential and commercial spaces.
LFO technology
Researchers at the Bartenbach laboratory in Austria have developed the technology to create a line of modern BB-Chili and BB-Tube luminaires. Its greatest strength lies in what cannot be seen, as light is emitted in a way that is invisible to the eye. Its innovative optics design ensures that light is focused in a as small space as possible and then disperses unobtrusively throughout the room.
System connectors
Connector designations refer to the shape of the letters of the alphabet or their arrangement against a surface, e.g. ML refers to the letter L, MX to the letter X, MT to the letter T. The MH connector refers to the horizontal alignment of two segments joined at 135 degrees. The connectors are available for the U32.32 profile series in the C, S, T mounting versions.
